Simplicity, elegance and modularity. These are the elements that characterize the ambiance of the Swissôtel Kursaal Bern, a historic building in the heart of the Swiss capital, the protagonist of a recent creative redesign by architect and designer Nina Mair.
The concept proposes a receptive space with a familiar atmosphere, in which natural materials give life to sophisticated, welcoming and at the same time inclusive furnishing solutions.
An avant-garde project, for which LaCividina, together with Nina Mair herself, has created an innovative collection of seating, which pays homage to the elegant hotel by bearing the name of Bernard.
The central nucleus is the armchair which, thanks to the particular line of the single armrest and backrest, makes it possible to rationalize the spaces of the rooms, exploiting the double facing of the seat. At its side, the coffee table creates a small sitting room, while the pouf version offers an additional minimalist seat, for a refined and complete furnishing.
With its light forms, Bernard brings a corner of domestic well-being into the bright suites: a virtuous synthesis of design, comfort and sustainability, signed by the best made in Italy LaCividina.
