Milan Design Week 2026: Atrio Calmo

For Milan Design Week 2026, laCividina’s showroom was transformed into “Atrio Calmo”, an
installation conceived by Barbieri Magalini creative duo and produced by MM Company: as a calm
and convivial environment designed to welcome, connect and create the conditions for encounter.
Drawing from the atrium as a universal architectural archetype, the project reinterprets the idea of
hospitality through the lens of laCividina, shaping an atmosphere where indoor and outdoor, people
and furnishings, enter into relation within a space designed for pause, conversation and attention.
Within this new setting, laCividina presented Arkadius by Norm Architects, a modular seating
system with a strong architectural presence, and Palme by Zanellato/Bortotto, a coffee table
collection where geometry, material and craft converge in a precise balance. Furthermore, Osaka
was reinterpreted through a renewed material expression, further extending the dialogue between
product and atmosphere.
