The Alessandro Stabile Design Studio specializes in industrial design and art direction.
We interact with firms to develop ideas into an effective design process with the aim of creating products that stand out for their innovation, ethics and elegance.

Questioning all that is certain, incentivising technological research to go beyond the current limits and exploring practical improvements, these are the methods for creating original products that outclass what already exists.
Ultimately it is about finding a formal synthesis that gives a distinctive slant to the ordinary.
We design products with the sole objective of making them people-centred, to be used expressing their full potential, interpreting the contemporary world in aesthetic terms, respecting the environment and the people who come in contact with them.

Chairs, handles, air purifiers, back packs, smart pens, suitcases, electronic locks, small tables, scissors, padlocks, heated towel rails and stools are some of the types of products that we have designed: the multidisciplinary approach is a fundamental value of the studio which makes it possible to always have a versatile view of design.

We also collaborate with companies in defining a strategic vision, to build the brands by outlining a high quality growth path which impacts the product catalogue, identity and communication.

Alessandro Stabile (Milan 1985) set up his studio in 2011. In 2013 the Italian ultural Institute of New York selected him as one of the ten Top Young Italian ndustrial Designers. In 2016 two of his projects won the first and second prizes in Young&Design as two of the best projects presented by an under 35-year-old at the Milan Design Week. In 2021 the project Chair 1:1 was nominated for the Compasso d’Oro. With more than 40 products included in catalogues and several patents, he is at present involved in the Creative Direction of four companies and he designs for brands such as Moleskine, De’ Longhi and Alessi.

The path that Antonino Sciortino has followed is encapsulated by his output. He was born in Sicily and at just eight years old he learnt the art of blacksmithing in his brother’s workshop. Around the same time, he became a keen dancer and started taking lessons at a school in Palermo.
After a brilliant career as a dancer and choreographer, he opened a workshop in Milan in 2003. In his new artistic endeavours, he strives to fuse his two previous experiences by seeking out the ethereal lightness of dance in metalwork. Alongside his work as a craftsman/artist, he designs products for a number of Italian and international furniture companies.
Bearing witness to a journey through air and fire, his creations seem to change size and move whenever their positions and lighting conditions vary.

Antonino Sciortino was born in Palermo on 12/02/1962.
He now lives and works in Milan and Noto.

Born in 1989, Federica Biasi graduated with honors from the European Institute of Design of Milan in 2011. Following some professional experiences in Italy, she moves to The Netherlands for 2 years. In Amsterdam she explores nordic design, learns to identify emerging trends and develops her own style. Focusing on formal simplicity: soft, graceful and detailed, with an always clean aesthetic approach. In 2015 she comes back to Milan where she sets up Federica Biasi Studio.

Anticipating international trends is essential to Federica. Whether it is a matter of colors, materials or finishes, she is always drawn to functionality and shapes. Her goal is to reach the right balance between her personal touch and her clients’ know-how. Art Director and Product Designer, she works with Italian design and furniture brands (cc-tapis, Coin Casa, Lema, Gallotti&Radice, Fratelli Guzzini, Manerba, Mingardo, Nason Moretti, Potocco) as well as with international companies (Nespresso, Fest Amsterdam, Imetec, Pode).

Her glaze is curious and outgoing. While paying attention to sometimes forgotten artisanal stories, cinematographic and photographic projects, the Milanese designer gets inspired by nature and travels all over the world. Combining manual work and tradition in order to reach innovative solutions, almost imperceptible to the consumer, imagining every detail to come up with an efficient and functional product, building a tight-knit relationship with her professional partners…Starting from these solid principles Federica creates harmonious ideas with her team, companies, suppliers and factories. This is how her projects come to life.

Federica is a strong supporter of team work and proud of sharing her knowledge throughout talks for the design universe insiders. From 2016 she teaches CMF (Colors Materials and Finishes) classes to Product Design students at IED and Istituto Marangoni in Milan. Appointed by master Andrea Branzi, in 2018 she was awarded as one of the 6 Italian Rising Talents at Maison & Objet fair in Paris.
